Red Wine

Red wine has been produced for thousands of years. From the early Chinese dynasties, through ancient Greece and Roman times, to the Kings and Queens of Medieval Britain, wine has always been prevalent in religion and history. It has more varieties and forms than could ever have been imagined, with new vineyards appearing worldwide every day.

At Taste Fine Wines we pride ourselves on a wide knowledge of red wines and we stock bottles from the well-known growers and producers in the classical wine growing Countries such as France and Italy, but also the New World wines from South Africa, and New Zealand.

The red wines you’ll find here have been chosen personally by Tim and Dave due to their success in the shop and at some of the most recognised restaurants in Huddersfield. Each one comes from a wine house we have really close relationships with and have bought from vintage to vintage.
