St. Patrick’s Day Gin – Let Bertha Sort You Out!

Irish Gin Pub

It’s funny how we’re all a bit Irish when St. Paddy’s day comes round, isn’t it? Here in Yorkshire, you’ll find many Irish roots...especially on March 17th!

It’s not just Guinness and Whiskey that we can enjoy on the most Irish of nights. There are also some excellent Irish gins to choose from, led by the brilliant Bertha’s Revenge!

Irish Gin

We highly recommend Bertha’s Revenge, which is an Irish Milk Gin made from whey alcohol. It is named after ‘Big Bertha’, a legendary Droimeann cow. She lived to be just 3 months shy of her 49th birthday, and by this time she had given birth to 39 calves! This had earned her an entry in the Guinness Book of Records.

Still, feeling winter blues? There is also a Bertha’s Sloe Gin to warm you through!

We do of course have the classics at Taste. We have a wide range of Irish Whiskeys including the typical Jameson, Bushmills and Black Bush. But we also have a selection of Paddy Irish Whiskey Blends. And Guinness too, to be sure!
