On the nose, Castle Hill Blood Orange and Raspberry Gin is very inviting with aromas of fresh juicy oranges and a zing of raspberry and gives a light and refreshing taste leading to a sweet finish.
What is Castle Hill?
To us, Castle Hill is the symbol of our town, and we are lucky enough to see it every day from the window of our shop. Located just 5 minutes up the road, the castle is actually a Victorian tower located at the top of a hill that looks out over all of Huddersfield. The name however dates back over 4000 years, with evidence of settlers from the neolithic period first taking residence and building a settlement. The site was used for centuries before being first fortified around 700 BC with a single rampart being built to enclose around a 5-acre area – hence the castle! Find out more about Castle Hill here.
