Dona Paula Estate Sauvignon Blanc
The Dona Paula Estate Sauvignon Blanc has intense aromas of wild mint, grapefruit and white currant leap out of the glass, a fresh, concentrated and well-balanced Sauvignon with a persistent finish.
The grapes were hand-picked during the first week of March from two vineyards; Alluvia Vineyard located 1,350 metres above sea level and the Los Cerezos Vineyard in the Cordon del Plata mountains. The climate typically presents warm days and cool nights with an average temperature variation of 14°C. It is this diurnal temperature variation, which extends the ripening period, balances the crisp acidity while producing complex flavours in the grapes. The combination of loamy, sandy, rocky and well-drained soils with an exhaustive selection of the best French clones, result in this premium example of Sauvignon Blanc.
