Chardonnay Naturalys Gérard Bertrand

Full of lively white fruit and citrus characters with a zesty bitter lemon finish.

The grapes were harvested by hand when they reached peak maturity. The fruit was lightly pressed to extract the finest juices, then a portion of the juice was cold settled for 48 hours. A proportion of the must was fermented in barrels, while the rest took place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, maximising the fruit’s aromas and freshness. The wine remained on the lees for three months with pumping over every 10 days, after the alcoholic fermentation had completed. The wine was gently fined before bottling.

Please note: unless the vintage has been specified we will send the first available vintage of this wine. If there is a certain vintage you would like then please contact us for availability or add a note to your order.

Aromas of ripe peach are complemented by citrus notes of grapefruit. A smooth wine full of white fruit, citrus characters, a hint of vanilla and exotic fruits. Cool and generous on the finish, with a subtle hint blossom.

Enjoy with shellfish, grilled fish with delicate sauces or white meats.
