1753 Viognier Campuget

£13.49

A beautifully balanced and aromatic wine with ripe pear, ginger and honeysuckle character, full and textured through to a lively finish.

Harvested at full maturity, the ripe grapes were taken immediately to be pressed, then they must be chilled and settled. Vinified in the traditional manner, a proportion of the wine was matured in a tank with the remainder matured in used oak for a period of three months prior to the final blend. Beautifully packaged, incorporating a glass stopper.

Please note: unless the vintage has been specified we will send the first available vintage of this wine. If there is a certain vintage you would like then please contact us for availability or add a note to your order.

An elegant Viognier with hints of orange marmalade, apricot and ripe tropical fruits. Precise, crisp and balanced on the palate, with a roundness of generously structured fruit and a long, elegant finish.

Serve chilled as an apéritif, or to accompany smoked fish and spicy dishes. Perfect with Asian or Indian inspired cuisine.
