On the nose, it is sweet & zesty, with lots of lemon & citrus coming through. The palate opens with zesty & fresh flavours and fresh lemon & coriander, before a finish of more zest with pine & pepper.
Malfy Gin is an Italian Gin made using a selection of six botanicals, as well as an infusion of Italian lemons from the Amalfi coast.
It is said that Italian monks in the 11th Century gathered Juniper Berries and mixed them with alcohol – and gin was born. As generations passed the fresh lemons picked straight from the free growing tree’s of the Amalfi coast would be sliced and splashed into a gin and tonic creating the most refreshing aromas and flavours. Today, Malfi’s Gin uses coastal grown Italian lemons to gives Malfy the aroma like the zest from a lemon just picked from the tree.
The Malfy’s Gin bottle is made using traditional Italian glass and the stopper is made in Italy from real oak. The blue of the branding represents the Mediterranean Sea and the yellow represents the Italian lemons which give Malfy the aroma of the zest from a lemon just picked from a tree.
Malfy Gin was chosen for the explosion of fragrant lemon that it gives off. Customers know what to expect from it as the bright yellow and blue bottle matches these great flavours of the Amalfi coast. It is almost like a limoncello to taste but the expected gin elements are all there and come through perfectly once tonic is added.
