Meet the Taste Family

Tim Marriott

Tim Marriott carries on the Taste Fine Wines legacy as the third generation of his family in the wine trade. Leveraging his experience from managing a local supermarket, Tim joined forces with his brother Simon and mother Anne in 1990.

His leadership has been instrumental in the company’s growth. This includes expanding their client base to over 30 licensed restaurants, hotels, and pubs, which they supply with high-quality wines and spirits on a weekly basis.

Tim’s dedication extends beyond wine. He earned a silver diploma as a Havana cigar specialist, solidifying Taste Fine Wines’ position as one of the few UK companies offering an extensive cigar selection.

Dave Marriott

With over 40 years of experience in the wine trade, Dave Marriott brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Taste Fine Wines. Formerly a partner at the award-winning Mitchells Wine Merchants in Sheffield and runner-up in the prestigious 1991 National Off-licence of the Year competition, Dave played a crucial role in launching the business alongside his wife Anne and youngest son Simon.

His ongoing dedication continues to be instrumental in the day-to-day operations, working alongside his eldest son Tim to ensure the continued success of Taste Fine Wines.
